Details
Kombisystem is our workhorse uPVC window line, built on the Gealan S-9000 profile — a deep, central-seal (“Kombisystem”) design engineered in Germany for demanding thermal and acoustic targets. An 82.5mm, 6-chamber frame with up to three gaskets accepts glazing packages as thick as 56mm (58mm with GEALAN’s STV structural bonding), putting it comfortably in passive-house territory.
Beyond the numbers, the S-9000 platform is built for longevity: steel-reinforced sashes, multi-point locking, and weather ratings up to rain-tightness class 9A and wind load class C5/B5 mean it holds up to the wind-driven rain the Pacific Northwest throws at it. Finish options run from a clean factory White to GEALAN-acrylcolor tones, decorative foil laminates, and aluminum-clad exterior shells for a low-maintenance, modern look.
Kombisystem is our recommendation whenever a project calls for proven, high-volume European engineering — remodels, new construction, or anywhere the brief is “efficient, quiet, and built to last.”
