Details

Simulated Double Hung is built for renovation and heritage projects that need to preserve a period-correct sash-and-rail appearance without settling for the drafts and upkeep of a real antique window. The divided upper and lower sash look is molded into a single, modern operable frame — available as tilt-turn or side-hung — so it reads as a classic double-hung from the street while performing like a current European window.

The frame is offered in a wide choice of solid species, from meranti and pine to oak and mahogany, in three construction depths to match different wall and trim conditions. Finish options run from a full RAL powder-coat palette to transparent coatings that let the natural timber grain show through, so the exterior color can be dialed in to match a historic district’s requirements as closely as the performance specs.
